In 2017, the FBI concluded that white supremacists killed more Americans from 2000 to 2016 than “any other domestic extremist movement”. During recent congressional hearings, FBI Director, Christopher Wray, declared that DOMESTIC TERRORISM has risen dramatically in 2019! I urge POTUS TRUMP (#45) and his administration to reinstitute the Department of Homeland Security Countering Violent Extremist Behavior (CVE) program that his very administration concluded nearly two years ago. Our community engagement coordinators (CECs) worked with stakeholders in ALL AMERICAN COMMUNITIES, to highlight systemic causes which lead individuals becoming “RADICALIZED”. The wire2netllc data analytics and cyber security technologists team supplied the artificial intelligence tools needed to combat known bad actors and those individuals “manifesting behaviors” which could promote violent or disruptive behavior. Our social media team members provided the literature DHS and CECs required to highlight trends in the CVE battlefront.
As a starter, DHS must increase the Office of Terrorism Prevention Partnerships budget from a paltry $3 million dollars to a minimum of $1B dollars and re-engage the OUTSTANDING wire2netllc CVE team IMMEDIATELY!! This program would cost AMERICAN taxpayers a mere $50M while ensuring the safety of ALL AMERICANS AND SAVING LIVES AND THE ELIMINATION OF DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIORS BY ALL BAD ACTORS!!
